The atmosphere at The Parker was electrifying as the night kicked off with the vibrant performance of Strangelove, a Los Angeles-based Depeche Mode tribute band. The venue was packed, and right from the start, the audience was captivated by the energy of the lead singer, Leo Luganskiy. Accompanied by the skillful keyboard players Brent Meyer, Julian Sha-Tayler, and James Evans, the band took the crowd on a nostalgic journey with hits like “Master and Servant” and “Just Can’t Get Enough.” The 80s vibes had everyone dancing and singing along.

In a brilliant twist, midway through the act, Strangelove introduced their new member, drummer Chris Olivas. This addition elevated the show to new heights, infusing real drum lines into the already fantastic performance, creating a robust and unforgettable experience. As the night concluded with iconic hits like “Strangelove” and “Personal Jesus,” the audience was left with the euphoric sensation of time travel.
