Sing a Song All Night Long Tour 2026 at The Hard Rock Live

Hard Rock Live was packed Friday night as two true music legends took the stage. On this stop of their co-headlining tour at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire delivered sets of almost equal length, proving this wasn’t just an opening act followed by a headliner, but a true celebration of two catalogs that have shaped generations of music fans. The result was an evening filled with timeless hits, with the audience singing along to almost every song from beginning to end.

Opening the night, Earth, Wind & Fire quickly turned the venue into one big celebration. From the very first song, it was obvious that their music still has the same power it had decades ago. Classics like Shining Star, Sing a Song, Fantasy, Boogie Wonderland, and Let’s Groove reminded everyone why they remain one of the greatest disco and funk bands of all time.

There was also room for more emotional moments with Reasons and After the Love Is Gone, before closing in explosive fashion with September, leaving the crowd completely energized and more than ready for Lionel Richie.

Richie walked on stage like an old friend everyone was happy to see again. He surprised the audience by opening with the ballad Hello, then quickly shifted gears with Running With the Night. The crowd’s reaction was so overwhelming that he joked he could probably end the show after just two songs. That sense of humor stayed with him all night. Between songs, he kept joking about his now-famous “hydration issue,” taking sips of electrolytes while getting the audience to chant, “Drink! Drink! Drink!” At times, the show felt less like a concert and more like a conversation with an old friend.

Musically, the performance never lost momentum. Richie was backed by an incredibly tight band that moved effortlessly between his solo hits and the unforgettable classics from his Commodores years. One of the night’s funniest moments came during Dancing on the Ceiling, when the keyboard player surprised everyone by throwing in the famous riff from Van Halen’s Jump, earning big smiles and loud applause before seamlessly returning to the song.

The evening also had its emotional moments. One of the highlights came with Lady, performed as a virtual duet with his late friend Kenny Rogers. Before the song, Richie shared a few heartfelt words about his longtime friend, making the tribute feel both genuine and deeply touching. Later, during Endless Love, he invited the audience to sing Diana Ross’s part, creating another unforgettable moment as thousands of voices came together.

Before the encore came one of the most meaningful moments of the night. Richie brought back We Are the World, inviting the entire Hard Rock Live audience to sing along to a song that, even four decades later, still carries the same message of hope. Hearing thousands of people singing those lyrics together created one of the most emotional moments of the concert.

As expected, the night closed with All Night Long. What had already been a celebration turned into one huge dance party. Nobody wanted to stay in their seats as the audience sang, danced, and celebrated until the very last note, bringing an unforgettable night of timeless music to a perfect ending.

On a personal note, I left Hard Rock wanting to keep listening. As soon as I got to my car, I turned on more Lionel Richie because I simply wasn’t ready for the night to end. I guess that’s what happens when a concert is filled with songs that have become part of the soundtrack of so many lives. A night full of classics, great energy, and unforgettable memories.
